When one if the connected water sensors detects water and a leakage alarm is triggered, the water supply will be shut off and a push-notification is sent to all members of the Abralife home. If emergency contacs are set up, they will receive SMS message if alarm is not cleared within the time limit.
How to stop an alarm?
When one of the sensors triggers an alarm, an alarm image will appear in the app, and the Linkbox+ will start beeping and flashing red. In the app, you will also see under "favorites" which sensor has issued an alarm, remember to name the sensors if you have several around the house, so that you can quickly see where the leak has occurred.
NB - clarify the situation! Make sure that there is not a real leak before you turn the water on again.
In the Abralife-app you do the following to mute the alarm:
- Press the "open" in the red field that indicates an alarm.
- Press the orange button "clear water leak alarm". (this will not open the valve, only stop the alarm and prevent SMS messages to be sent to any emergency contacts added)
- Wipe/dry the area at the triggered sensor, and check/dry all sensors until the app states "Sensor X is OK. You can open Water Valve now"
- Open the valve if everything is ok.
You can also stop the alarm on the Linkbox+ itself by briefly pressing the button to switch off the alarm, and holding the button for 3 seconds to open the valve.
