Placement

The IO module is designed for flexible mounting. For optimal performance, the module should be placed indoors in environments with temperatures ranging from 0-50°C.

Mounting and Installation Procedure

Connect the IO module to a power source. This can be done using a 5-28V DC power supply or via USB PWR. If both power sources are available, the 5-28V DC will serve as the primary power source with the USB as a backup. Once power is connected, the IO module will automatically enter pairing mode, searching for a network to connect to. This is indicated by the LED light beginning to flash yellow.

Adding the IO Module in the Abralife App

From the home screen, press the "+" icon located in the upper right corner. Then select "Add Device" from the menu that appears. Choose "IO Module" type. Next, click on "Develco IO Module" from the list of available devices. Finally, follow the step-by-step instructions displayed in the app to complete the installation.

Using the Product

The product can be used to connect Waterguard+ to a BMS (Building Management System). The IO module allows for opening and closing the valve, silencing the water alarm, and viewing the status of the water alarm and valve position directly from the BMS. Troubleshooting

If the IO module does not function as expected, first check the power connection. If there is a weak signal or connection issues, try placing the IO module closer to Linkbox+ to improve communication.

Resetting or Restoring Factory Settings

To reset the IO module, press and hold the reset button (RST) for about 14-16 seconds. The LED will first flash once, then it will flash twice. Afterward, it will continuously blink. Then release the reset button. This will reset the device to factory settings, and the device will enter pairing mode.
