Ensure the bulb is powered
(just in case..)
Ensure your Abralife app has connection to the Linkbox
Open your Abralife app and make sure the Linkbox is present in the Devices menu
Ensure that the bulb is within Bluetooth reach of the Linkbox
Place the powered bulb as close as possible to the Linkbox before a new pairing attempt
Ensure the bulb is reset
1. Switch the bulb off
2. Toggle the main switch 6 times and leave it in the on-position to reset the bulb. The bulb will flash once and the light is dimmed
Remove the bulb from the Ikea Home Smart app
If the Ikea Home Smart app has been used to control the bulb, make sure it is reset/removed from the app/gateway.
Remove the bulb from any other connections
If you have been using other systems or app to control the bulb, make sure to remove it from all systems
Ensure the bulb is working properly
Is it possible to control the bulb using the native Ikea products such as the remote control, motion sensor and/or the Home Smart app (via the gateway)? If any issues, check out Ikea support for help
If the problem is present only when connecting to the Linkbox+ using Abralife app, please contact Abra support for further assistance
