Ensure the bulb is powered
(just in case..)
Ensure your Abralife app has connection to the Linkbox+
Open your Abralife app and make sure the Linkbox+ is present in the Devices menu
Ensure that the bulb is within Bluetooth reach of the Linkbox+
Place the powered bulb as close as possible to the Linkbox+ before a new pairing attempt
Resetting the bulb using the Philips Hue app
- Open the Philips Hue app
- Navigate to Settings/Lights and click on the bulb you want to reset
- Click Restore once, and then again to confirm
- Try connection the bulb again from the Abralife app
Reset the Hue Bridge
If a Hue Bridge has been used to control your bulb, you can try to reset the Bridge. This will also reset all devices connected the the bridge:
- Turn your bridge on and make sure the power status light is lit.
- Remove all connected cables, leaving only the power plug in place.
- Use a pin and press the reset-button on the back of the bridge for at least 5 seconds.
- Try connection the bulb again from the Abralife app
Remove the bulb from an other apps
If you have been using other 3.party apps (like Alexa) to control the bulb, make sure to remove the bulb connection from the app
Reset the bulb using a Philips Dimmer switch
If you have a Philips Dimmer Switch in hand, bring it within 10 cm of the bulb or lamp you wish to factory reset, then press and hold the I and 0 buttons simultaneously.
