Having problems connecting the Danalock to Linkbox and the Abralife app? We've collected a few troubleshooting steps below. For further product support, please visit Danalock support pages
Ensure your Danalock version supports the Zigbee protocol
The Linkbox communicates with the Danalock over the Zigbee protocol. Check Danalock variants on Danalock support site.
Ensure your Danalock is powered
If newly mounted, remember to remove the plastic tap to activate the batteries. Check Danalock manual if batteries need to be replaced
Ensure your Abralife app has connection to the Linkbox
Open your Abralife app and make sure the Linkbox is present in the Devices menu
Ensure that the lock is within Bluetooth reach of the Linkbox
Place the lock within 1 meter from the Linkbox before a new pairing attempt
Ensure your Danalock is properly reset
10 clicks will delete all user settings. Ensure that the command is completed (confirmed with red blink)
Ensure your Danalock is updated with the latest firmware
Follow the Danalock manual firmware update guide for instructions
Ensure your Danalock is excluded from any previous configurations
9 clicks will exclude the Danalock from any previous/other connections (confirmed with a short green flash). See Danalock click commands for further details.
If Danalock app has been used before, enter the app and ensure the lock is deleted from the account.
Manual Linkbox pairing mode
If the Danalock doesn't connect to the Linkbox via the app, you can try to enter pairing mode manually. Press and hold the Linkbox button for 3 seconds and ensure the power symbol pulsates with a blue light. Then enter Danalock pairing mode by clicking one time. Wait for a green blinking light.
Connect the lock using the default Danalock app
To rule out any other device issues, try to download the native Danalock app (from Google Play or App Store) and try to add the lock. If the Danalock app cannot connect to the lock, contact Danalock support for further help.
If the Danalock app is able to connect the device, contact Abra support for further help
