Introduction
Existing EN54 fire alarms can be connected to the central unit Linkbox+ 4G to ensure automatic forwarding of fire alarms to a 24/7 FG-approved alarm center, as well as sending emergency alerts by SMS and push notification in the Abralife app.

If wireless smoke detectors from Abra are installed in addition to the existing EN54 system, alarms will also be forwarded to the smoke detectors so that all zones are alerted in the event of a fire.
This is especially useful for housing associations and condominiums, where a quick response to fire alarms is important for the safety of the residents.

Outline of principles
To connect the EN54 control panel (12) to the Linkbox+ 4G (B), connect the control panel to the "Valve" RJ45 port on the Linkbox+.
We recommend using a terminal adapter (11) of the type EX-49121 Cable adapter - CAT.6 RJ45 plug (EAN 4718359491214) or equivalent to connect the outputs from the EN54 control panel's alarm output to the Linkbox+.

Configuration
System configuration should be performed by an Abra authorized installer. This involves setting up the Linkbox+ 4G so that it communicates correctly with the EN54 control panel and the alarm receiving centre.
Testing
System tests must be carried out by an authorised installer. This includes performing a test alarm on the EN54 control panel to confirm that the alarm signal is being received by the Linkbox+ and forwarded to the alarm receiving centre. NOTE! Alarms on the EN54 system must be reset before the alarm can be reset on the Linkbox+.
Integration with wireless smoke detectors
If wireless smoke detectors and Linkbox+ are also installed in apartments or common areas, these will go off as an alarm if the EN54 control panel is triggered. This helps to alert all occupants of the building and enables rapid evacuation.
NOTE! The alarm on the EN54 system must be reset before the alarm can be reset on the Linkbox+.
