Installation
Assembly and Installation Procedure
The installation of the EV charger must only be carried out by qualified personnel. The installation is described in the article "Installation of Abra charging station in a private residence".

Adding amina S EV charger to the Abralife app
Once the installation is complete, the next step is to connect the charger to the Linkbox+ so that the charger can be controlled in the Abralife app.
- From the home screen of the Abralife app, tap on the "+" icon located in the upper right corner.
- Then, select "Add Device" from the menu that appears.
- Select the type of "EV charger". Then click on "Amina's" from the list of available devices.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions that appear in the app to complete the installation. The QR code used to identify the charger can be found on the bottom of the charger. The illustration below shows the QR code's location.
Using the Product
Function Test
Perform a function test of the charger by following the instructions below:
- Ensure the charger is connected to power: This is indicated by a white light on the charger.
- Plug the charging cable into the vehicle.

Check the charger's status:
- If the charger is in charging mode, it will begin to charge the car. This is indicated by a blue light on the charger.
- If the charger is not in charging mode, it will have a green light indicating that a car is connected, but it is not charging. You can set the charger to charging mode using the Abralife app.
LED Indicators
The charger's LED indicators provide information about the charger's status:
- White light: The charger is connected to power but not to a car.
- Green light: A car is connected, but charging is not in progress.
- Blue light: A car is charging.
- Purple light: The charger is updating its software and cannot be used while the update is in progress.
Other light indicators may indicate errors or specific conditions. For more information about these, please refer to Amina's user manual.
Troubleshooting
If the electric vehicle charger does not function as expected, first check that it is connected to power. In case of weak signal or connection issues, try placing Linkbox+ closer to the charger to improve communication.
Resetting or Restoring Factory Settings
To reset the device, the front cover must be removed. The reset is done as follows:
- Turn off the circuit breaker that the charger is connected to.
- Note the position of the current settings wheel (you will need to set this back later).
- Turn the current settings wheel to position "0".
- Turn on the circuit breaker that the charger is connected to.
- Wait until the charger blinks white at a slow pace (half a second on, half a second off).
- Turn off the circuit breaker that the charger is connected to.
- Set the current settings wheel back to the position you noted in step 2.
- Turn on the circuit breaker that the charger is connected to.
