How are termination fees calculated?

The termination fee is based on the total value of the products included in the package minus any payments you have already made against the products. The remaining amount is then reduced linearly over the entire contract period (36 months).

Example 1:

A customer purchases a starter pack with a monthly price of NOK 199. The starter pack includes products worth NOK 5960, and there are no one-time payments at the time of purchase other than the subscription price of 199. The products are then paid down linearly over 36 months, i.e. NOK 165.56 per month (5960 divided by 36). After 20 months, the customer wants to cancel the subscription. At that time, the products have been paid down by NOK 3311.20 (165.56 x 20), and the customer must then pay a termination fee of NOK 2648.80 (5960 - 3311.20).

Example 2:

A customer purchases a starter pack with a monthly price of NOK 149. The starter pack includes products worth NOK 6590, and the customer must pay a one-time payment of NOK 690 at the time of purchase in addition to the subscription price of 199. The termination fee at the time of purchase will then be NOK 5900 (6590 - 690). The products are then paid down linearly over 36 months, i.e. NOK 163.89 per month (5900 divided by 36). After 30 months, the customer wants to cancel the subscription. At that time, the products have been paid down by NOK 4916.70 (163.89 x 30), and the customer must then pay a termination fee of NOK 983.30 (5900 - 4916.70).
