Setting the master code
This is a unique programming code used only for manual registration of codes, changing functions, and other settings. The factory code is 123, and all codes can contain up to 8 digits. We recommend using at least 6 digits for increased security.
To set the first master code, follow these steps:
- Press *
- Enter user ID (000)
- Enter factory code (123)
- Press *
- Enter the new master code (up to 8 digits)
- Press *
- Enter the new master code again to confirm.
Example
Please note that this example uses a commonly used code "123456" for illustration purposes only. Do not use this code as your actual master code.
To set the first master code to "123456":
- Press *
- Enter user ID 000
- Enter factory code 123
- Press *
- Enter the new master code 123456
- Press *
- Enter the new master code again 123456
- The keyboard will beep to confirm that the new master code has been accepted.
Registering user code
To add a new user code, follow these steps:
- Press *
- Enter user ID (003-999)
- Enter the master code followed by *
- Enter the new user code (up to 8 digits) followed by *
- Enter the new user code again to confirm, followed by *
Example:
To add a new user code with user ID 003 and new user code 2323, follow these steps:
- Press *
- Enter user ID (003)
- Enter the master code followed by *
- Enter the new user code (2323) followed by *
- Enter the new user code again to confirm (2323), followed by *
- The keyboard will confirm successful registration with a quick green flash and beep. A red flash indicates that the input was unsuccessful. You may have taken too long.
Deleting user code
To delete a unique user code, you need to know the user ID where the code was first registered. The sequence is confirmed with a beep.
- Press *
- Enter user ID (003-999)
- Enter the master code followed by #
Example:
To delete user code with user ID 003:
- Press *
- Enter user ID (003)
- Enter the master code followed by #
Registering access card/tag
To add an access card, follow these steps:
- Press #
- Press 8
- Enter user ID (000-999)
- Enter the master code followed by #
- Place the access card next to the lock (external unit)
- The keypad will confirm successful registration with a quick green flash and beep. A red flash indicates that the input was unsuccessful. You may have taken too long.
Example:
To add an access card with user ID 005:
- Press #
- Press 8
- Enter user ID 005
- Enter the master code followed by #
- Place the access card next to the lock
Deleting access card
If a unique access card is to be deleted, you need to know which user position the card was first registered on. The sequence is confirmed by a green flash and beep.
Follow these steps:
- Press #
- Press 9
- Enter the user ID for the unit to be deleted (000-999)
- Enter the master code followed by #
Example:
To delete an access card with user ID 005:
- Press #
- Press 9
- Enter user ID 005
- Enter the master code followed by #
