Abra Powermate+ is a smart, wireless relay with a built-in power meter that can be used for many different purposes, as well as measure energy consumption.
Among other things, the product can be used to control:
- Water heaters ON and OFF
- Sockets connected to heaters, lighting, etc.
- Garage doors
- Commercial lock systems (typically used in condominiums, commercial buildings, etc.)
- Lighting
- Extractor fans

The Abra Powermate+ is designed for flexible installation and can be mounted either on a DIN rail inside the fuse box or directly in a wall box. The product is specially developed for smart control of water heaters, but can also be used for control of garage doors and other devices with potential-free entrances.

Select! The installation of the Powermate+ should be performed only by qualified personnel.
After the installation is complete, the Powermate+ can be connected to the Linkbox+. This is done by pressing the device's button once as illustrated below. When the LED on the Powermate+ flashes orange, it is in pairing mode, and is ready to connect to the Linkbox+.
Pairing and setting up Powermate in the Abralife app
After the installation is complete, the Powermate+ can be connected wirelessly to the Linkbox+. This is done by pressing the device's button once marked as illustrated below. When the device's LED flashes orange, it is in pairing mode, and is ready to connect to the Linkbox+.
From the home screen of the Abralife app, tap on the "+" icon located in the upper right corner. Then, select "Add Device" from the menu that appears. Select the type of "Smart Relay". Then click on "Abra Powermate+" from the list of available devices. Finally, follow the step-by-step instructions that appear in the app to complete the installation. NOTE! Select the correct configuration to ensure that the product works against the correct equipment.

NOTE! Impulse Mode Activation
If the Powermate+ is to be used to control garage doors, locking systems and other devices with potential-free inputs (i.e. where the Powermate+ is not to control the main power supply on/off), it is important to activate the impulse mode before connecting the module to the Linkobox+. This is to avoid damage to your equipment.
Short press the button on the relay switch 5 times. The LED will pulse green, confirming the activation of the impulse mode. You can now proceed with the installation of Powermate+.
To deactivate the impulse mode, repeat a series of 5 short presses.

For regular lighting, refer to the wiring diagram for sockets. Instead of electrical outlets, install lamps that should have 230V AC input.

Use of the product
The Abra Powermate+ can be used not only to control water heaters, but also other electrical loads such as lighting and electric heating, and more. In addition, the relay measures power consumption. By using Powermate+ to control your water heater, you meet one of the requirements to qualify for Enova support for your installation. Troubleshooting
In case of weak signal or connection issues, try placing Linkbox+ closer to the Powermate+ to improve communication.
Resetting or Restoring Factory Settings
To reset the device, press and hold the device button for more than 5 seconds. The LED will flash orange. Then press the button again (a short press) to confirm the reset. If the reset is successful, the LED will alternately flash red and green, then flash orange.
