Abra Powermate+ is a smart, wireless relay used to turn water heaters on and off, as well as measure power consumption.
Installation
Placement
Abra Powermate+ is designed for flexible installation and can be mounted either on a DIN rail inside the fuse box or directly in a wall box. The product is specifically developed for smart control of water heaters.
Mounting and Installation Procedure
The installation of the unit must only be carried out by qualified personnel. After installation is complete, Powermate+ can be connected to Linkbox+. This is done by pressing the unit's button once as illustrated below. When the LED on Powermate+ blinks orange, it is in pairing mode and ready to be connected to Linkbox+.

Adding Powermate+ to the Abralife App
From the home screen, tap the "+" icon located in the upper right corner. Then select "Add Device" from the menu that appears. Select the type "Smart Relay." Then click on "Abra Powermate+" from the list of available devices. Finally, follow the step-by-step instructions displayed in the app to complete the installation.
Using the Product
Abra Powermate+ can not only be used to control water heaters but also other electrical loads such as lighting and electric heating, among others. Additionally, the relay measures power consumption. By using Powermate+ to control your water heater, you fulfill one of the requirements to qualify for Enova support for your installation. Troubleshooting
In case of weak signal or connection issues, try placing Linkbox+ closer to the smart relay to improve communication.
Resetting or Restoring Factory Settings
To reset the unit, press and hold the unit’s button for more than 5 seconds. The LED will blink orange. Then press the button again (short press) to confirm the reset. If the reset is successful, the LED will blink alternately red and green, then blink orange.
